I wish we had discovered Debbie earlier!!! On their last visit to a cattery, one of our cats caught cat flu. This meant that catteries were no longer an option, so we had to find an alternative. I really wanted my cats to stay in there own home, as cats find it so stressful when they are taken out of their surroundings. So when I saw Crawley Cats at Home in the Ifield Monthly I thought brilliant. I was anxious before I met Debbie as going away can be stressful and you worry is everything going to be ok. However after meeting with Debbie I felt totally at ease, she was thorough with the cat’s routine and understood that I wanted the cats kept in at night. We went completely through where the cat food is, where the cats like to hide, and the locking up of the house right down to closing the curtains at night. The day we went on holiday we couldn't get one of the cats in, he was nowhere to be seen I was a bit worried as Debbie wasn't due to visit them until the next day, so he would have been out all night. I decided to text her and see if she could make an extra visit to the house, she texted back almost straight away saying not a problem, few what a relief. I also got a couple of texts updating me on the cats whilst I was away, which was lovely as I was missing them. When we arrived back, as soon as we walked into the house, it smelt really clean. I was informed later by Debbie, that the cats had messed, but Debbie’s magic carpet cleaner had worked its magic!!! It was a first class service; Debbie is obviously a cat lover and would always do the best for your cats. I totally trust her in my home and we will be using her every time we go away. We found Debbie's business on the internet and immediately contacted her as we needed someone to look after Billy and Benny whilst we were on holiday. When we initially met with Debbie, we were so impressed with her business that we signed her up straight away to look after our boys. After an anxious start (on my part), all went very well!! We returned home to two healthy and very happy cats, which have for the first time in 11 years of returning home from holiday, been more affectionate and cuddly!! The first time we went away, we worried about leaving Furley!! The reassurance Debbie gave us before hand at the consultation and then receiving the text message during the time we had away, went a long way to allay our fears Furley would be unhappy!! On our return, Furley was an extremely contented and relaxed cat and it was almost as though we had never been away. Furley greeted us with the same usual meow as though we had been shopping for an hour. Debbie is fantastic with the level of care given to our boy and had clearly spent time playing with and giving Furley the affection he needed!! Debbie does far more than “coming in to feed the cats”!! If it wasn’t for Debbie our time away would be worrisome. I was delighted with the service Debbie provided!! Cloudy had been cared for wonderfully and seemed calm, when I returned from a night away. Everything was also clean and tidy. Debbie did more than expected or asked for. One of the nicest things was receiving a detailed text message (I had been anxiously waiting for word and felt hugely relieved by the cheery description)!! As caring and loving cat owners, all we want is the best for our cats!! When you go on holiday, leaving your cats at home is a far better option than sending them to a cattery.
