For our initial booking Debbie stepped in to cover at very short notice when our neighbours became unwell. We were understandably a little worried as our boys hadn't met Debbie before and one of them is a bit skittish. From the moment she arrived we knew all would be well as Billy and Micky immediately made friends with their new 'auntie'. Debbie effortlessly managed their various meds and even kept in touch to let us know what exploits they had been up to whilst we were overseas. When we returned home I got the definite feeling that the cats missed Debbie for the first few days. We wouldn't even consider going away now with out booking Debbie to take care of the cats as it gives us peace of mind and enables us to relax knowing that they will be so well cared for. I would like to thank you Debbie for your fabulous service. You are always available when I need you and are always calm and have a lovely manner. It is clear that you care very much about animals and that shows through when you interact with our two boys Max and Oscar. You also were brilliant in teaching me how to inject Max who needs insulin twice a day. Without you our cats would have had to go into a cattery which we would never have liked to do. This way they are clearly happy and contented cats who when I need to be away can enjoy your company in their own home. We were initially quite nervous about letting someone into our house to take care of our cats, as it was our first time doing this but Debbie put our minds at ease by being very professional and clearly displaying a large variety of training and checks which she has worked hard to achieve for the role. She also displayed a clear interest in our cats and was generally a lovely person to speak to. Debbie came to visit the cats and answer any questions we had in her own time, prior to organising the cat sitting. While we were away, she provided us with updates as to how they were getting on and even some pictures of the cats getting fussed! Upon our return we were greeted with three very relaxed and happy cats, they had clearly been well taken care of. We will definitely be using her services again in the future and we highly recommend her to anyone. Debbie has looked after our girls, Mollie and Dolly, on several occasions over the past year. Debbie is a wonderful individual who conducts herself in a friendly and professional manner. I approached Debbie via her website she was prompt in responding and arranged to immediately meet with myself and my kittens. I required her services during a busy holiday period and she managed it well. She also sent photos and gave regular updates on my kittens via WhatsApp. Upon my return I found my kittens all grown up (clearly Debbie had them well fed) and house in a perfect condition with litter tray cleaned and food trays refilled - which was an added bonus after a long flight and not having to worry about this. Debbie was a true Santa as she even brought in some toys for my kittens to play with. She not only took care of them but played with them and has good judgement to know their personality and accordingly engage with each of them. I would continue to use Debbie’s services and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a cat sitter and wants to have a kind, responsible, and knowledgeable person to care for their cats while they’re away and be able to enjoy their time off without having to worry about their cats, as they would be in safe and very capable hands. My lovely Gingerpuss is getting on a bit now and has been through some rough patches, the latest being the onset of diabetes which required insulin injections after food twice a day at regular times. This meant I was always having to be in at those times regardless, luckily Debbie was recommended by a neighbour and she was able to step in and give my boy his jabs and food if I was going to be out. Careful management led to him being declared on remission a while later and no longer needing injections but I kept the visits from Debbie going as he is able to have food on time without being left too long unattended and gets a visitor too, he loves visitors! She provides a first class and indispensable service and I know my lad is so much better off for it, thoroughly recommended! I have peace of mind and he has snacks and a fuss - purrfect! We boarded our very timid cats for yet another stressful time whilst we were on holiday. When we returned home we discovered diabetes had been triggered in one of them. Our lives went on hold because of the regularity and timings of the insulin injections. Plus I was the only one in the house who could administer them. We really did not want to take them back to the cattery as they had clearly suffered too much stress. By chance I came across Debbie's advert so I contacted her and I am so glad I did. Debbie came to our house for some ‘dry runs` doing a professional, caring job and she demonstrated how competent she was in giving the insulin injections. The boys did not run and hide from her and took to her amazingly quickly. The boys needed to be comfortable with her because cats with diabetes must eat at the time of the insulin injection and a stressed cat will not eat. She really did put our minds at rest and we went away overnight for the first time in ages. We were amazed how good she was with our cats. We were also really pleased she texted to let us know the injections had gone fine at the time of her visits. We have already booked Debbie's services again and I only wish we had found her earlier!! I could not have been more delighted with the care and attention Debbie gave to my Kitty during my two week holiday at the end of August this year. Kitty was originally a feral cat that adopted me some seven or eight years ago. He was very wary of people and until recently has always shied away from being touched by anyone except me (and my house-mate). Being a feral cat at heart, he only tends to come indoors in the winter months as he loves his freedom and independence too much in the summer. He’s never been to a boarding cat hotel and hates being transported in a cat cage and as he has been used to coming and going freely, I knew I couldn’t possibly put in him a cat hotel. Until recently I have had support from my next door neighbours to look after Kitty whenever I’ve been away, but unfortunately they both passed away last year. I thought I had managed to arrange alternative feeding cover from other neighbours, but found out two days before I headed off on holiday, that they too had a last minute trip away... they recommended Debbie to me. She popped round the next day and met Kitty and he was immediately at ease with her which is so unusual for him to immediately purr at someone new so I instantly knew he would be in safe hands while I was away. Debbie came twice a day (mornings and afternoons) to feed him and check he was ok, she sent me photos and updates while I was away, which I hadn’t asked for, or expected, but was delighted to receive. I cannot recommend Debbie highly enough, she is the queen of cat carers and I will certainly be using her again when I go away. One of my cats had not been well just before my holiday, so I was very relieved to leave the cats with Debbie. She did a fantastic job, came to the house to tend to the cats every day and sent me regular updates as to their well-being. Debbie also bought extra food that they particularly liked and disposed of any cat waste. I originally got her at short notice as I forgot to book my regular people. We have four cats and one of them became ill two years ago which meant her having to take lots of medication twice a day. Since that time, we have neglected going on any breaks or holidays as we didn’t trust anyone enough to give our cat her medication. As I’m sure most cat-owners can attest to, it can be a tricky task and certainly no mean feat! We decided recently that, after two years of our cat now fairly used to being given medication, we would book a small getaway for a weekend. That’s when we found Debbie!! Debbie replied quickly and came round to our home for a visit to get to know the cats and also offered to give Tigger her medication, so that we could see she was able to. This was the main concern for us, as the other cats come and go as they please, but we really needed someone who understood the importance of Tigger getting her medication and Debbie handled this perfectly and professionally. We also have a very timid cat who mostly stays in our wardrobe, but she was more than happy to come out to see Debbie and even let her stroke her which is a massive tick in our books! It speaks volumes about the person that Debbie is – she can bring even the most timid of cats out of their shells and make them feel comfortable! Unfortunately, on the first full day of our weekend break, we had a call from Debbie to say that Tigger had to be taken to the emergency vets as she was limping and her paw was cold, but despite this being a stressful situation, we absolutely knew that Debbie was handling it and she communicated with us all the way through and checked in with us once we had heard back from the vets. We cannot truly express the gratitude and appreciation we have for Debbie, it's very likely her care and attention saved our cats life. She truly cares about cats and is a credit to her profession.
